YAMAHA / REVSTAR RSP02T -Crisp Gold- Made in Japan Description [REVSTAR] Released in 2016 to mark the 50th anniversary of Yamaha's guitar manufacturing, the REVSTAR is designed based on the "cafe racer" style of custom bikes that originated in London in the 1960s, and is a popular model that exudes a nostalgic atmosphere while still being cutting-edge. This is the only top-of-the-line "RSP (Professional)" model produced in Japan. The price is much higher than the lower-end models, but the careful construction and specifications are truly professional. Both the neck and body are made of carbon fiber material, which gives each note a clear, full, high-quality sound, and is a special specification only available from RSP that is also highly rigid. The wood material is made in the classic Les Paul style of a maple top, 2P mahogany back body, mahogany neck, and rosewood fingerboard, and the PU is equipped with Yamaha's original P-90 type "YGD VP5". The Alnico V magnet gives it a powerful tone. The versatility of sound making is also a real attraction. In selector positions 2 and 4, you can get a sound similar to the half-tone of a normal 3-single coil guitar without reducing the volume. The tone knob is equipped with Yamaha's original "focus switch", which has the effect of increasing the number of turns of the pickup, allowing for aggressive tone changes that emphasize the mid-low range. The frets are made of stainless steel and jumbo. Combined with a neck that is neither too thin nor too thick, it is easy to press, and the long life of the frets prevents them from wearing out.
